The brief

How to gain 1BN+ views in a month?

We were challenged by Think with Google to simplify their lessons on YouTube for marketers. We were provided with long-form article content and data from their UK Culture and Trends report. We found that video inspires a sense of community and authenticity, but what are the secrets behind gaining 1BN+ views in a month?

The solution

YouTube’s lessons

We combined data with human visuals to create three episodes of the YouTube Lessons series. The episodes included stories and learnings from famous YouTubers such as Joe Wicks and Mr Beast. We ensured that the collection utilised Think with Google’s style while bringing YouTube to the forefront.

Animation

The design focussed on human and authenticity as much as possible to truly represent what YouTube is all about. We created flowing animations with transitions from creators, to data, and typography highlighting the key points.
